Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single stroller to double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be configured into a triple travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in all and is the most highly rated stroller. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger’s soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating temperature. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is lighter, too.
It features a medium-sized shade as well as an open-air window with a magnet, that is simple to open or close. The telescoping handlebar is one of the easiest to adjust and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline and there is a footwell adjuster button to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of room, but we would have liked an easier latch. It's easy to access but we discovered the zippers to be a bit difficult to use since they have to be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
Like its counterparts, the City Select has single-action brakes that are easy to set and release with the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame, lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and is an improvement over the toe-pinch lever that some of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed that can accept two infant seats. It's a great option for parents who have twins or an infant on the way. It can be used with most major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good choice for families with a car seat and need a stroller to accommodate it however, you might be better off with another convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat in this instance.
